C3 Chevy Corvettes and Star Wars are synonymous with the 70’s, so why wouldn’t a fan and owner combine the two iconic forms of Americana?!
For a little background, May 4th has been dedicated to the film series as a play on the popular tagline: “may the force be with you”. To celebrate international Star Wars Day and our weekly C3 Corvette humpday, check out this ride:
This 1974 Corvette Stingray was custom air brushed in 1977 as a tribute to the original film Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. It features a slew of the original characters and scenes all painted in the old school air brush technique that the 70’s was known for. Whether or not you are a fan of Star Wars or are a Corvette purist, you’ve got to admire the dedication the original owner (now deceased) took with the respray.
The car was most recently for sale on Ebay in December 2015, but did not meet the seller’s reserve and the listing was removed.
